This year, our goal for Give Miami Day is to raise $15,000 to transform Coral Way K-8 Center into a serene and inspiring space for students and staff alike. With your generous support, we can bring our vision to life and make a lasting impact.

Create a "Living Classroom": Transform our native garden space and surrounding areas into an outdoor learning environment where students can explore and learn about Miami's diverse plant life.
Restore the Fountain: Revitalize the beautiful focal point on our campus, ensuring it remains a soothing backdrop for everyone.
Replace Benches and Add Umbrellas: Upgrade the seating around the fountain and add shade to the picnic areas, making outdoor spaces more comfortable and inviting.

Giving Activity
Mission
As the United States' first bilingual public school, Coral Way K-8 Center aspires to develop leaders who contribute to the well-being of society as they progress through their educational experience and personal growth. Snuggled in the community of Shenandoah between Little Havana and Coral Gables, our mission is to provide our students with opportunities to develop a better sense of the world around them, while establishing an educational setting that moves both teachers and students to create a multicultural and interactive learning environment. As recognized by the Spanish Consulate as the Elementary School of The Year in 2019-20, it shows that there is a spirit of united purpose and equal worth cultivated in our school. In our international setting, we are developing citizens of the world where bi-literate communication and technology are integral components of our teaching and learning.
