Coconut Grove Sailing Club Instructional Center

A nonprofit organization

The Coconut Grove Sailing Club "CGSC" was started in 1946 by a group of Miami residents based on a shared love for sailing, a passion for Biscayne Bay and, a spirit of volunteerism in providing community service. The founding members formed the club to provide a safe venue to teach children to sail and to safely operate a sailboat. In January 2016, CGSC opened the Coconut Grove Sailing Club Instructional Center, Inc. a 501 ( c ) (3) sister entity, striving to expand our programs that we offer to the community. We trust that you will be willing to take part in one or more of the many exciting events that we are offering this year and experience firsthand the pride we take in promoting our mission to the community.
