At Alliance Française Miami Metro, we are more than just a language school; we are a dynamic force for cultural exchange and community empowerment. Established in September 2018, our mission revolves around celebrating the French language and francophone cultures while making a meaningful impact on the lives of Miami residents.

Our Initiatives

• Empowering Youth: We bring free after-school French programs to young children in various areas, including Coral Gables, Little Haiti, Little Havana, and more, rekindling their connection with the French language and culture.

• Supporting Professionals: We offer scholarships to adult students looking to enhance their professional careers by learning French, unlocking opportunities and connections on a global scale.

• Teacher Training: We are dedicated to enhancing language education. Through a partnership with the French University (Université des Antilles), we offer a free 2-year program to train teachers in "French as a second language," culminating in a Master's degree in the field. Additionally, we provide certification and training opportunities to support French teachers from the school districts of Miami and beyond in their professional growth.

• Inspiring Women: Our "Itinerary of a Woman / Parcours de femmes" mentoring program invites accomplished female professionals to share their inspirational journeys. They discuss how they broke through career stereotypes and embraced paths not traditionally pursued by women.

• Cultural Enrichment: We host engaging cultural events that transcend geographic boundaries, encompassing theater, music, dance, cinema, and more. In addition, we provide opportunities for the community to meet and greet local and international artists, thinkers, writers, and filmmakers. These interactions foster a deeper understanding of French culture and its global connections. Finally, our virtual events on French history have not only engaged audiences in Florida but also reached enthusiasts in Europe, further promoting an appreciation of French culture.
