Whitneydance Foundation Inc

Whitney Dance Foundation was started in 2022 after a student walked into our studio who had an extensive breast cancer diagnosis. She was left unable to work due to her medical treatments, but she said her dream was to dance. Weeks away from our annual Breast Cancer Fundraiser, we decided to sponsor her for our show. After a few weeks, we couldn't imagine our studio family without her, for as long as she could be a part of it. There, the Scholarship Fund was born. We created the scholarship fund for students who were suffering medical or financial hardship who otherwise would not have access to Whitney Dance Foundation goes directly to helping the local community.

That was just the beginning. We started Dancing Thru Life in Miami, we started Dancing Like The Stars Miami (for the Firefighter's Resiliency Foundation), and since, we have gone on to

-run a food bank food drive annually 

-run a toys for tots drive annually

-Run a backpack and school supply drive for needy families 

-and work with local schools to provide Dancing thru Life in their schools as well as begin the process of research on Stroke survivors and ballroom dance.
