Who We Are:

WestCare The Village South is a behavioral health and human services non-profit organization committed to delivering high-quality and cost-effective services that empower people to transform their lives.  

What We Do:

We provide numerous services & programs for residents in South Florida, including but not limited:

• Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
• In-home & On-site outpatient therapy
• Case Management
• Healthy Start Program: Provides guidance and assistance to pregnant and post-partum mothers
• Medical & Psychiatric Services
• Family Therapy
• Vocational & Peer Services
• HIV/HCV/STD Testing & Prevention Education
• In-School Assessments & Treatment for Youth/Young Adults
• Child Welfare Specialty Program
• Mobile Response Team

Our Mobile Response Team provides behavioral health services 24/7 throughout Miami-Dade County.  If you or someone you know is having a behavioral health crisis, you can call 1-800-HELP-YOU and be connected with a master's level clinician.  If on-site services are needed, members of our team, including a clinician and a peer specialist will be on site within 45 minutes to assess the situation and provide referrals and linkage to community resources, support in difficult/stressful times, and education about mental health to those in need.  These services are free and offered 24/7 to Miami-Dade County residents of all ages. The goal of the Mobile Response Team is to prevent any unnecessary psychiatric hospitalizations.
