Help Us Bring Care, Dignity, Comfort, and Independence to Miami-Dade Seniors, Disabled Adults, and Family Caregivers
For over 50 years, United HomeCare® understands the overwhelming challenges seniors, disabled adults, and their family caregivers face. Isolation, loneliness, Alzheimer’s disease, chronic illnesses, disabilities, and physical ailments are daily realities for many in our community. That’s why we’re here —to ensure they can live safely and comfortably in their own homes, surrounded by the dignity and quality of life they deserve.
Did you know that one in seven seniors in Miami-Dade County must choose between paying for rent, food, clothing, or medication? United HomeCare has worked to relieve these heartbreaking choices since our inception in 1973. Our mission is to keep seniors independent, nourished, and supported in their homes.
A Growing Need… And an Urgent Call to Action
According to The Giving USA Foundation, few organizations focus on serving Americans 65 or older, a population expected to grow to 98.2 million by 2060. While many of our clients qualify for aging and healthcare programs, we frequently encounter other needs that aren’t covered. That’s where community philanthropy —your donations— steps in to fill the gap.
Thanks to your kindness, our comprehensive in-home care services are a lifeline those in need. During Give Miami Day, we encourage you to contribute to one or more of our service-related programs (click on the program title below to read more):
These services help seniors recover faster, remain independent longer, and live at home with dignity, all at a fraction of the cost of institutional care. Every dollar you give directly impacts on the lives of frail, elderly adults in dire need of extra services or those waiting for generous donation.
Let’s Honor Their Lives
Our seniors have built careers, raised families, and contributed to the vibrant community we all call home. Together, we can give them the independence, dignity, and respect they deserve.
Don’t forget, they are Miami, too!
Become a lifeline for Miami’s elderly and disabled adults. Donate today and make a difference that matters.
United HomeCare's mission is "To make a difference in the lives of individuals by offering community-based health care solutions that promote independence and wellness." Delivery of compassionate care is our philosophy and way of life. Donate today to give the gift of independence and dignity to a deserving senior.
