South Florida Arts & Counseling is a nonprofit AHCA exempt healthcare organization. It was founded by Licensed Mental Health Counselors - ASCAP singer-songwriters and creators in May of 2020.
We are embedded in the daily provision of counseling and clinical services via telehealth and face to face in Florida thanks to our contractual agreements with the commercial insurance plans. Our current network includes major insurance providers in Florida, such as Cigna, Florida Blue, United Health, Aetna, Magellan and more. These specific collaborations fueled community outreach and access to our Telehealth programming and services. Thanks to our Telehealth Counseling program, more than 1055 in rural and low access areas of Florida have received counseling services until the current date.
Our company goal is to open the spectrum of counseling by offering enrichment protocols that will trigger greater success in sustaining prolonged states of well-being through the exposure to arts, specifically music, within the psychotherapeutic interventions.
With special attention to the underserved and marginalized population, our mission targets the process of brain neuroplasticity; the amazing capacity we possess to change our lives by improving our brain by utilizes therapy in combination with music for a sensorial richer environment to bring emotional, behavioral, and physiological transformation.
