About Give Miami Day at RKBBH

Our PTA is raising funds through Give Miami Day to support some important initiatives this year for our students at Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor K-8 Center (see Wish List below for more info).

Give Miami Day is our school’s biggest fundraiser and we need your help to make it a success! You can contribute by making a donation and spreading the word to others to contribute as well. This fundraiser is so impactful because The Miami Foundation provides various matching donations.

Give Miami Day is on Thursday, Nov. 21st, but we can begin collecting donations on Sunday, Nov. 17th during Early Giving.

We have some exciting programming, incentives, and prizes for students during Early Giving and on Give Miami Day. Prizes will be awarded to the top-earning classes as well as to the entire school if we reach our school-wide goal of raising enough money to fund three (3) of our Wish List items. Available prizes will be announced soon!

How to Donate & Spread the Word

You can donate in two ways:

1. Make a general donation to support our school.
2. Make a donation in the name of a specific class at RKBBH. You can find all class pages here on the leaderboard. Top-earning classes will be eligible for prizes!

Wish List

The PTA has put together a Wish List of items that will support and enrich the educational experiences of our Bobcats. Our goal is to complete as many of our Wish List items as possible!

• Online Educational Programs to Support Curriculum (Reflex, IXL)
• Outdoor Green Space Beautification

*Please note that the Wish List is subject to change due to pricing, availability of resources, changes in needs, etc. However, all funds raised will be used towards our longstanding goals of student success, educational development, and school improvement at RKBBH.
