Propelling into Triumph

Propelling Into Triumph (PIT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth aging out of foster care by providing critical resources and support during their transition to independent adulthood. We believe that every young person deserves the chance to succeed, regardless of the challenges they have faced. Through our comprehensive programs, we equip foster youth with the life skills, education, housing, and emotional support they need to overcome barriers and thrive.

What We Do

At PIT, we offer a holistic approach to supporting foster youth through a range of programs designed to address their immediate and long-term needs. Our core services include:

• Saints House Transitional Housing: A safe and supportive housing environment for youth transitioning out of foster care, helping them stabilize their lives while building the skills needed for independence.
• PIT Scholars Success Coaching Program: One-on-one coaching that focuses on life skills, career readiness, financial literacy, education, and personal development.
• Life Skills Training: Workshops covering essential topics and hands on lessons such as cooking, financial literacy, healthy relationships, academic and career success.

Why Our Work is Important

Each year, thousands of youth age out of the foster care system without the support network they need to succeed. Many face homelessness, unemployment, and mental health challenges. At PIT, we understand that this critical period can determine the trajectory of a young person’s future, which is why our programs focus on stability, empowerment, and opportunity. By providing housing, coaching, and mentorship, we are giving foster youth the tools and confidence they need to not only survive but to triumph.
