This program offers BFA graduates of New World School of the Arts (NWSA) the unique opportunity to travel to historical destinations, private collections, museums, and cultural events. Through rigorous research and curated itineraries, the Knight Art Student Travel program aims to empower young artists to engage with art and art history credited for influencing contemporary visual culture. Scholarships cover all expenses associated with travel and accommodations, including per-diem stipends.

Initiated by Rosa de la Cruz in partnership the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the NWSA: Student Travel Program is committed to advancing education through hands-on experience with art abroad. With the support of the Key Biscayne Community Foundation, the focus now turns to ongoing fundraising efforts to match the Knight Foundation's contributions and ensure the sustainability of these programs for years to come.
