At Miami Theater Center (MTC), we believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the magic of the arts. As South Florida’s nonprofit theater dedicated to young audiences and families, MTC creates exceptional live theater and arts education experiences that inspire imagination, build confidence, and bring our community together.
From the moment a child sees their first live performance to the moment they step onto the stage themselves, MTC creates opportunities for young people to discover, learn, and belong. Each year, we reach thousands of children and families throughout Miami Dade County through professional performances, school field trips, in school programming, after school classes, camps, workshops, and other arts education initiatives.
Accessibility is at the heart of our work. Through partnerships with schools, educators, community organizations, and supporters, we work to remove financial and logistical barriers that can prevent children from experiencing the arts. Scholarships, affordable programming, free opportunities, and educational partnerships help us reach young people from communities across Miami Dade.
But what happens at MTC goes far beyond the stage. Theater teaches children to use their voices, work together, take creative risks, and believe in themselves. It creates connection and gives young people a safe and welcoming place to imagine what is possible.
On Give Miami Day, your gift helps us keep the arts accessible, bring extraordinary theater experiences to Miami families, support the artists and educators who make our work possible, and ensure that the next generation grows up with the arts as part of their lives.
When you give to MTC, you help create more than a performance. You help create the moment a child discovers the magic of theater and realizes there is a place for them in it.
