About Us
We are Miami's first and only flat track roller derby league, founded in 2011 by a crew of women intent on bringing roller derby to their backyard. Today MVCR is composed of strong, fierce skaters who train hard and play harder. Our league is growing around the principle that friendship off the track fosters stronger teamwork on the track, so we have become both an athletic team and a social club run by skaters and a group of indispensable shoe-wearing volunteers.
