Miami Animal Rescue Inc

Miami Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and foster network dedicated to saving dogs and cats from euthanasia, abandonment, and emergency situations throughout US. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need, while promoting compassion, responsible pet ownership, and community awareness about the importance of adoption and spay/neuter programs.

MAR originally started as dog and cat rescue only. We quickly grew into a full spectrum animal charity, accepting all kind of species: domestic, livestock and exotics. Miami Animal Rescue is 100% no kill organization and is operated by non-salaried volunteers. Each month we welcome between 100-150 animals to the rescue, and we adopt around 700-1000 pets annually. Our organization was created in 2014 and initially only rescuing dogs and cats now fully blossomed into a meaningful philanthropist educational platform connecting humans, pets, Miami Dade community and its goals, entrepreneurial ideas, business partnerships, scholar opportunities and many others. We are first responders, and we are here to serve.

Miami Animal Rescue has an active and positive partnership with PetSmart through the in-store adoption program since 2018. We currently have 3 adoption centers at Petsmart Coral Gables, Kendall Lakes and Pinecrest.
