The Longevity Science Foundation (the LSF) is a global nonprofit providing funding for early-stage research on extending the healthy human lifespan. Our goal is to make longevity care accessible to all, no matter their background by bringing cutting-edge science on aging out of the laboratory and into the mainstream.

We were established in Switzerland in 2021 and expanded internationally in February 2022, becoming a 501(c)(3) organization with our global headquarters in Miami, Florida.

Why Your Support Matters

The globe grapples with a swift rise in the aging population, urging us to address the escalating prevalence of diseases like Alzheimer's, heart failure, cancers, and many more. While age-related diseases strain economies, inflate healthcare costs and magnify national debts, the burden on our lives and the lives of our loved ones is immeasurable. Scientists working to tackle this issue often face challenges related to a lack of funding, particularly for early-stage projects. A lack of transparency in many grantmaking organizations worsen these problems and contribute to inequality in accessing longevity care.

Longevity researchers need your attention now. World-changing ideas can make it out of the laboratory and into public use. In order to fast track the longevity ecosystem and accelerate near term results, early-stage researchers must be encouraged to be bold, transparent and collaborative in the early stages of development, something that does not happen at scale today due to the demands of the current modes of funding (VCs, PEs). We help tackle these issues by offering a transparent, bias-free review process, with no subsequent IP ownership claims or equity stakes.
