Empowering Dreams Through Social Circus

Live the Dream Entertainment is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities through the transformative power of circus arts. Our Social Circus initiative brings the joy, creativity, and discipline of circus arts to underserved communities, creating opportunities for personal growth, connection, and empowerment.

This year, we’re planning 15 Social Circus community days, where individuals of all skill levels can come together to learn, practice, and explore circus arts in a supportive and inclusive environment. Participants will take part in guided workshops and enjoy open access to various skill stations, with coaches available to help at every step.

As part of this initiative, we are committed to creating targeted Social Circus days specifically for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and LGBTQ+ communities. These events will provide safe, inclusive spaces where participants can connect, express themselves, and thrive through the power of circus arts.

Breakdown of Funds:

    1.    Workshop & Station Costs

    •    Instructor Fees: $150 per workshop/station x 15 events = $2,250

    •    Supplies & Equipment: $150 per event (props, safety gear, mats, juggling tools, etc.) x 15 events = $2,250

    •    Venue Costs: $400 per event x 15 events = $6,000

Total for Workshops & Community Days: $10,500

    2.    Coaching Support at Stations

    •    Coach Stipends: $100 per coach x 3 coaches per event x 15 events = $4,500

    •    Program Coordinator/Admin Support: $1,000

Total for Coaching Support: $5,500

    3.    Community Outreach & Inclusion

    •    Scholarships for Participants: $50 per participant x 80 participants = $4,000

    •    Outreach Materials (flyers, online ads, etc.): $500

Total for Outreach: $4,500

Grand Total Goal: $20,000

If we surpass our goal, our stretch goal of $25,000 will allow us to expand our reach even further by hosting additional targeted Social Circus events, offering more scholarships, and providing enhanced coaching and resources.
