Liberty City Optimist Club of Florida is non-profit organization founded in 1990.

The LCOCFL provides high-yield sports activities, afterschool programs, mentoring

and employ key elements for Positive Youth Development.

We Believe– all children have the right to feel good about themselves and it is the

responsibility of all employees to nurture the children self-esteem.

We Believe– all educational guidance decisions for the children must be based on

our knowledge of child development and performance

We Believe- each person is a unique individual and has his/her own needs.

Children have a right to meet this need in their own way. However, one of the

responsibilities of having rights is recognizing and respecting the rights of others.

We Believe- in appreciating and supporting and the close ties between the child and family. We also believe that children are best understood in the context of their family, culture, and society
