Hispanic Unity of Florida

At Hispanic Unity of Florida (HUF), we believe that every individual can achieve their full potential when economic, social, and educational needs are met. 

For 43 years, our programs have provided families with resources that foster independence, income growth and community connection for youth and adults – many who are newcomers to the US.

• Students in our Career Technical Education program at Miami-Dade College are on the path to increase salaries by thousands of dollars. 

• Our “Hall of Fame” features new citizens proudly waving the American flag after receiving naturalization assistance from HUF. 
• Students in our English classes at Miami-Dade Public Libraries have newfound confidence and fluency, ready to step onto the career ladder.  

HUF helps our neighbors rebuild their networks and strengthen ties to their new neighborhoods. We help them understand the seemingly simple — opening up a bank account and getting ready for job interviews in a new country — to the complex: preparing tax filings and finding healthcare or applying for college.
