GI 305 is a community organization that provides local residents and young people a basic income in order to meet their needs in an increasingly unaffordable MDC.

Through our guaranteed income programs, we support local residents and young people in Allapattah, Homestead, Hialeah, Liberty City, Little Haiti, Little Havana, Opa-Locka, Overtown, Westchester and Wynwood amidst:

  • Rapid displacement and growth in the cost-of-living
  • Financial insecurity and economic inequality
  • Housing instability and affordability
  • Food insecurity
  • Job insecurity and barriers to employment
  • Unstable access to transportation


Mission

Our mission is to foster social and economic enfranchisement for the residents and workers of Miami, Florida. We achieve this through the establishment of a guaranteed income program and organizing initiatives that promote community self-determination.
