The G.W. Carver Middle School PTSA collaborates with parent volunteers, teachers, students and school staff to improve the educational activities for our students and provide supplemental resources to our school administration. Our main objective is to promote advocacy for the students by providing a welcoming, supportive school community to ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Give Miami Day is one the largest giving events at GW Carver! Funds raised have supported major projects in our school, such as renovating our Media Center, technology upgrades, auditorium improvements, re-finishing the gym floor, and more!
This year our Give Miami Day fundraising goal is $25,000.
We are actively raising funds for enhancements to upgrade school facilities, modernize classrooms and purchase new equipment. Our focus this year is to bring our community together to support and advance our school through dedicated fundraising efforts. We aim to secure essential resources for two key initiatives: Enhance Campus Facilities and Updates to Classroom Technology to ensure our students have access to the latest tools for learning. By investing in these critical improvements, we will create a safer, more innovative environment that fosters educational excellence and prepares our students for a bright future. Together, we will build a stronger school community where every student can succeed, and every educator can excel.

Mission
G.W. Carver Middle School Center for International Education is a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, a Merit School of Distinction, and an "A" school by the State of Florida. Carver Middle academic programs strive to raise student achievement to world class standards by providing rigorous curricula that emphasize student-centered learning, competency in a foreign language, and training in technology. G.W. Carver Middle School is the only public middle school recognized by the French, German, Italian and Spanish governments and accredited by France and Spain.
Our school PTSA is composed of Parents, Teachers AND Students all committed to ensuring that every child is able to achieve his or her maximum potential.
