❖ Fishing with America’s Finest (FWAF) is a 501C3 organization, founded in 2007 by Captain
Neal Stark and his family to honor and support the veterans who have served to protect
our country. Currently supported by the kind contribution of sponsors, donations and
grants and a cast of over 150 volunteers.
❖ FWAF serves US military veterans and families from all over the United States by using
sport fishing activities, including Piscatorial Therapy (fishing therapy) and other therapeutic
activities to mitigate PTSD and other emotional issues impacting our veterans.
❖ FWAF has grown with Chapters across South Florida consisting of Veterans, Professional
Fishermen and Fisherwomen who want to continue supporting those who defended our
way of life.
❖ The only out-of-pocket expense to the veterans is their transportation to the event site.
Mission
FWAF works with the VA Hospital System, Vet Centers, and
Government offices at several different levels to bring awareness of treatment options other than medication to improve The QUALITY OF LIFE of these great heroes,
Changing Veteran’s Lives One Cast at a Time.
