Florida Breast Cancer Coalition Research Foundation

The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation (FBCF) is dedicated to ending the suffering caused by breast cancer through research, education, advocacy, living expense, mammogram, and medical item programs. 

FBCF IS A TOP-RATED Charity Navigator breast cancer organization for a fifth year in a row in Florida and the nation with a nearly perfect score for Transparency and Accountability. Charity Navigator is the premier charity assessment organization that evaluates nonprofits based on operational models, transparency, and impact. FBCF can only maintain this coveted 4-star rating thanks to the ongoing support of people like you and the meticulous operations of the Foundation. Less than 20% of all nonprofits nationwide achieve this status. FBCF exceeds industry standards and outperforms others in our cause making FBCF the top-rated breast cancer organization in the state, and is among an elite number of breast cancer organizations in the country to receive this score.  

FBCF offers a virtual support group, Live, Learn, Laugh for breast cancer fighters & survivors, and our signature education program, MASS, aims to reduce late-stage diagnoses in underserved African American and other minority communities through education and mammograms. FBCF transitioned the in-person program to virtual during Covid-19, and is now a hybrid program. 

Our volunteer-based advocacy arm works statewide to ensure quality healthcare for all and sufficient funding for research and the Mary Brogan Program (BCCEDP), which provides 15,000+ screenings to the underserved in Florida. Our growing volunteer base helps drive us, providing a robust network of advocates & supporters. 

Funds from our End Breast Cancer specialty license plate support our breast cancer research & education programs. Our thrift store partner, Pickups for Breast Cancer, supports our mission through donations of clothing/household goods. All funds raised stay in Florida.
