EZRI was cofounded by 3 women who saw the community’s need for reentry support. We are a dedicated team of Social Workers and Mental Health professionals who serve with passion and excellence. Founded in 2021, EZRI has become a safe haven for the justice-impacted community to receive a helping hand as they return to society. Although we primarily serve those who have been justice-involved, we never turn anyone away.
Community Engagement & Collaborative Impact
Over the past year, we have been fortunate to collaborate with numerous community partners and participate in vaious community events. A key part of our success has been our continued grant partnership with Dr. Kathryn Notwotny, Associate Professor in the Sociology and Criminology Department at the University of Miami.
Through these collaborations, EZRI has provided services to approximately 557 individuals through community outreach efforts, and an additional 1,161 individuals have signed in for services at our office. These partnerships have allowed us to expand our reach and make a meaningful impact in the community.
Our mission is to help ease the difficult transition of justice-impacted individuals as they return to the community. We empower our clients to make good choices, by providing them the right tools to start. We provide:
- A self-directed plan
- A safe space
- Coordinated service
- Fierce advocacy
