Most people with disabilities want to go to work and lead productive lives as they earn a living and enjoy the satisfaction of contributing to the communities in which they live. And, most employers want employees who have industry-level skills, enjoy the workplace, are enthusiastic about work, and are reliable.

Enter Piece of Cake Bakers and our unique, proven training program.

At Piece of Cake Bakers we work extensively with other nonprofits and private companies in the design, development, and implementation of workforce disability programs. These programs provide adults with disabilities the access to learning those valuable industry-level skills sought by employers, thus creating a "Win-Win" situation for both the employer and the employee.

Our training program-using our own unique color-coded system-meets and overcomes the challenges faced by adults with disabilities by breaking recipe quantities down by easily understood 'color' measurements.

With our industry-level training, Piece of Cake Bakers students will be prepared for a variety of positions in the baking industry. Thus, adults with disabilities can get real-time, real-life training and the industry obtains an already-trained work force with hands-on experience.

As a bonus-icing on the cake if you will-Piece of Cake Bakers also features a one-of-a-kind technology aspect using Augmented Reality (AR) in our training program.

Our Techno Baking takes our color-coded system to the 'next' level by introducing AR smart glasses to the baking industry. We expect the new technology to revolutionize training and access for adults with disabilities and we've already begun the initial steps of working with South Florida disability organizations to make this goal a reality.
