At DORCAM, 

Our MISSION is to elevate the understanding and appreciation of art that reflects the incredible diversity of Miami-Dade County, embracing the rich cultural tapestry that defines this community. We are dedicated to curating exhibitions that represent all nationalities within the county, fostering social unity and encouraging cross-cultural understanding through the language of art. Our commitment extends to providing inclusive educational programs with interdisciplinary approaches that invite an open exchange of ideas, bringing people together from all backgrounds to experience art in its many forms. Through our "DORCAM Pop Up" and "DORCAM Beyond Dorcam" spaces, we offer exhibitions and events that bridge cultural divides, strengthening community bonds and creating opportunities for people of all backgrounds to engage with art in accessible and meaningful ways.

Our VISION is to establish a permanent home for DORCAM in the heart of Doral, where residents and visitors alike can immerse themselves in multidisciplinary art experiences that span architecture, design, technology, science, music, fashion, and innovative visual art. With this dedicated space, we aim to make DORCAM a cultural beacon that showcases the unique diversity of Miami-Dade and encourages an appreciation of the world’s many artistic traditions without borders. This space will offer exhibitions reflective of our community’s various cultures and serve as a gathering place that promotes unity and a shared cultural identity through art. Additionally, by expanding our reach with "DORCAM Pop - Up Exhibition spaces" and "DORCAM Beyond Doral,"

We are developing a multi-platform approach that allows us to connect with even more members of our community and create unique encounters with art that resonate on a personal level. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization since 2017, DORCAM operates as a nomadic museum, bringing art to the people and creating spaces for community engagement and exploration without a permanent collection. Recognized by the county and city as a cultural institution, we rely solely on grants, donations, and sponsorships to fund our initiatives.

We maintain a strong presence near downtown Doral with an executive office and gallery, located at 84th Ave and 58th St, and our biggest exhibition space yet at CityPlace, conveniently located next to the cinema. These spaces provide us with flexible venues to reach our community, but our vision for a permanent museum building is essential for fostering a lasting cultural legacy in the City of Doral.
