We'd like to introduce Curley's House of Style Inc./Hope Relief Food Bank, a local non-profit group that fights poverty in Miami-Dade County and the City of Miami. We honestly recognize that individuals with great influence over the world and access to resources can support local food banks in eliminating starvation and the associated economic crimes.

We are a mission-driven organization since 2000 that works to improve the lives of people with low to moderate incomes, people who are at risk, people who are disabled, people who are recovering from drugs and alcohol addictions, homelessness, homeless veterans, mothers and children, and people who have cancer or the HIV/AIDS virus.
Our Core Values are:
1. Putting our families first is something that the Value family always does.
2. Using servant leadership to eradicate hunger and its effects in our communities.
3. Responsibility helps us accept opportunities to have a beneficial impact on our society.
4. Integrity constantly acts morally upright and treats everyone with respect.
Background:
We as previously stated have a vast community of people (including teenagers who are abandoned, youth in danger, homeless people, drug and alcohol addicts and former addicts, mistreated women and children, displaced families, retirees, and the massive influx of immigrants from other countries) who need assistance.
The prevalence of exploitation in industrialized cultures, represented by crime, relates to how economic resources are distributed; societies with more economic inequality typically have higher crime rates and lower levels of social trust. A desperation threshold is a level of resources below which it is exceedingly harmful to fall, and it is something that our food distribution operations can help with. Participants do not suffer from fixed types of destabilization or mental deficiencies; rather, they are affected by starvation conditions that have an impact on their behavior based on their current resource level, and it is this behavior that affects the surrounding population of this county and city as a whole.
A 2012 study also found an increased risk of mood, anxiety, behavior, and substance use disorders among people who are not eating. Even when other consequences of extreme poverty are taken into account, food insecurity increases the chance of mental health problems by 14%. Our hypothesis shows that providing access to a variety of resources will restore people's wholeness as opposed to exploiting them, which is the ideal course of action for those who are on the verge of desperation. This is still true even if there is a harsh and likely punishment for exploitation, because effective consultation is the quickest method to escape desperation, whereas punishment does not alleviate situations that are already in a desperate state.
Our organization feeds approximately 25,000 families per month, and these numbers are steadily increasing throughout all of Miami-Dade County, Broward County, and Palm Beach County.
Curley's House Food Bank is aware that a minimum 14% increase in mental health disorders occurs as a result of food insecurity after the crippling effects of extreme poverty. It has been demonstrated that young individuals with food insecurity are more likely to experience hopelessness, desperation, or powerlessness.
In Conclusion:
We strive to improve the lives of people who are dealing with a variety of socio-economic and mental health difficulties.
People who are committed to their beliefs and care about humanity use their capacity for giving to improve conditions for others.

A 501(c)(3) grassroots non-profit group called Curley's House was founded in 2001. Our goal is to enhance and empower the quality of life for people with very low to moderate incomes; families; the elderly; the disabled; at-risk youth; those who have experienced abuse or homelessness; people who are veterans; and people living with HIV/AIDS. We provide a wide range of compassionate services to individuals, families, and kids in an effort to uplift their sense of dignity, self-worth, and independence. We offer them clothing, furnishings, bulk food items, and health and nutrition advice relevant to their day-to-day struggles and food concerns. We also offer them useful resources and information. We aspire to be a never-ending organ that cares about the suffering of the people in our neighborhood. We continuously look for financial and in-kind resources, as well as partners who can assist us.
