To fulfill its mission, the Chopin Foundation works with schools of music, music teachers, and other music organizations to find the best young classical pianists performing today. The Foundation promotes their careers through concert opportunities, an annual scholarship program, competition prizes, and by connecting the pianists with other presenters. A series of public concerts is presented each year in Miami-Dade County, where the annual Chopin for All FREE concerts are enjoyed by thousands of audience members each year. 



For the last 45 years, the Chopin Foundation and its flagship event, the National Chopin Piano Competition, have earned a respected reputation in Miami and in classical music circles around the world. The first Competition took place in 1975, and the next National Chopin Piano Competition will take place in Miami in 2025.

November 4 & 5 - Lewis Warren, Jr. - Winner of the 2023 MTNA Young Artists Competition  
December 3 & 4 - William Ge - 16-year-old American pianist and winner of the 2023 MTNA Special Chopin Prize 
January 13 & 14 - Sarah Tuan - Award-winning young American pianist 
February 10 & 11 - Viet Trung Nguyen - Polish/Vietnamese pianist and winner of the Polish National Chopin Competition  
March 16 & 17 -Victoria Wong - Young Canadian/American pianist and laureate of many international competitions 
April 13 & 14 - Young Local Pianists - showcasing selected local students in an All-Chopin concerts 
May 18 & 19 - Mateusz Krzyżowski - Winner of the 2022 Paderewski Competition, Semi-finalist at the 2021 Warsaw Competition                                                    Concerts take place on Sunday in Coral Gables, and the 2nd program will take place in Fort Lauderdale

The Chopin Salons are a series of more intimate recitals featuring well-established artists for the benefit of Chopin Foundation members and the public at large. Three concerts this year will take place at the Miami Beach Woman's Club: November 19 - Martin Garcia Garcia, January 28 - Ewa Pobłocka, and March 10 - Peter Miyamoto.

Mission

The Chopin Foundation's mission is to 1) assist young, talented American pianists develop their careers as international concert artists; and 2) to make classical music, and above all the music of Frederic Chopin, accessible to everyone.
