CARE Inc. is a community-focused non-profit which has been serving the greater Miami area for more than 20 years in the areas of HIV counseling and support, marriage & family enrichment services, mental & behavioral health wellness programs, educational empowerment, and community linkages. Each year low to middle-income families benefit from more than 605 free or subsidized hours of counseling and intervention.
Our food distribution feeds on average 3593 individuals and 933 households each month and distributes over 557815 pounds of free food. More than 800 meals and care packages with personal hygiene products and blankets were distributed to the homeless in Overtown and downtown Miami. In the past two years, 127 hours of social services support were provided to clients in finding housing, applying for benefits through DCF, and refHrral for free healthcare to community partners such as FIU Mobile Health and Mammogram Unit.
CARE was one of the leading institutions in the Miami Gardens community providing COVID-19 testing and vaccines in the greatest times of crisis. We look forward to a greater opportunity to reach more individuals in need.

To empower clients to help themselves through CARE programs of counseling, education, advocacy, and utilization of available resources that will enable them to become self-sufficient and productive members of the community.
