Our synagogue fosters an inviting atmosphere where you can find friendships and opportunities to deepen your connection to Jewish values, community, and prayer. From family-friendly programs like challah baking, a latke cookoff, family services and Shabbat on the Bay, to engaging adult activities such as mahjong, Adult Hebrew classes, and educational speaker series, there’s something for everyone at Bet Shira.

Our commitment to Jewish education extends to every age group. Bet Shira Preschool offers an enriching environment for our youngest learners, where they begin their Jewish journey with hands-on experiences and fun activities. Our Religious School and Hebrew High School programs provide children and teens with the opportunity to grow in their Jewish knowledge, values, and traditions while making lasting connections with their peers. Additionally, we offer a range of youth programming designed to engage young people in Jewish life, helping them build leadership skills and a strong sense of community.

With your support last year, we hosted the Community-Wide Interfaith Israel Solidarity Service, the South Dade Community Yom HaAtzmaut event, Welcome Weekend BBQ, Shabbat dinners, holiday programming, monthly Jammies and Jeans, Havdalah under the Stars, and many other meaningful gatherings with our Bet Shira community.
