Assistance to the Elderly has been a resource for older adults in Miami-Dade since 1999, implementing programs to assist the most vulnerable among older adults, low-income and older adults with Alzheimer's.
Assistance to the Elderly, Inc. is a liaison between low-income older adults and services and care in our community, ensuring that seniors find the care option that meets their physical, emotional, and financial needs.

In partnership with Residential Plaza, Assistance to the Elderly has the following programs:
- The Rental Assistance Program was established in 2004, allowing low-income older adults to afford rent in an assisted living environment to maintain their quality of life.
- The Memory Care Program facilitates education and resources to healthcare providers working in memory care programs in the community, focusing on the Montessori for Aging and Dementia Program.
