WHAT IS AMP MEDIA FUTURES FOUNDATION?

AMP Media Futures Foundation (AMFF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing college students with immersive opportunities in media production, marketing, communication, and business skills. Our goal is to offer a comprehensive and inclusive approach, covering media production, marketing, oral and written communications, and business skills. Interns will learn interpersonal relationship skills, editing, video and radio broadcasting, public relations, digital media, and graphic design. AMFF supports interns through inclusion in a real-life collaborative setting, investing in curriculum and equipment to create a positive impact. Rooted in our dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), we actively engage students in diverse aspects of media production in a vibrant non-classroom environment. Through strategic collaborations with local and national universities, we align our strategies with academic and industry standards, providing participants with a holistic educational journey. AMP Media Futures Foundation prioritizes DEI, delivering a mission-driven approach that nurtures real-world media production and communication skills essential for professional success. AMFF helps align students with businesses and individuals within our community to AMPLIFY their influence within an emotionally supportive learning and teaching environment.

Founded by Dawn Graubert, M.S.Ed., and Frederico Santory, AMP Media Futures Foundation (AMFF) aims to educate and mentor students for successful careers in mass communications and community programming. "We believe in hands-on learning and real-world collaboration," explains Dawn Graubert. "Students gain practical experience by working on projects and interacting with industry professionals." Frederico Santory emphasizes their commitment: "We provide a supportive environment where students can develop essential career skills and amplify their impact in the media."
