Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre is thrilled to celebrate its 37th Anniversary during the 2024-2025 Mainstage Season with a lineup of exceptional productions including RENT creator Jonathan Larson’s explosive musical tick, tick... BOOM!, the Tony Award-winning sensation Jersey Boys, the hit Broadway favorite Waitress, the gripping drama The Girl on the Train, and the heartfelt, hilarious United States premiere of Step by Step.
Beyond our Mainstage, we ignite the imagination of young audiences with a full season of exhilarating Children’s Theatre productions, featuring titles such as A Christmas Carol, The Musical, Junie B. Jones the Musical and SHREK. Our award-winning Theatre Conservatory program continues to nurture young talent, with alumni now shining on Broadway, in National and International tours, and in film and television.
In partnership with The Children’s Trust, our Young Talent Big Dreams competition inspires Miami-Dade County’s youth to showcase their performing arts talents, spanning categories such as music, dance, voice, spoken word and original composition. Meanwhile, our specialized programming for individuals with special needs provides invaluable opportunities for young people to experience the magic of live theatre in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Mission
For over three decades, Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre has been a beacon of professional excellence and cultural vitality in South Florida. As one of Miami-Dade County’s leading cultural institutions, we are proud to be the region’s largest employer of Florida-based actors and theatre professionals.
Our mission is to produce world-class live theatre that entertains, enriches and inspires audiences of all ages. Each year, we present five Mainstage productions and four professional Children’s Theatre performances, alongside robust educational outreach initiatives, including our year-round Theatre Conservatory and Summer Camp programs.
Since 1988, we’ve welcomed over 2.5 million youth to our Children’s Theatre performances, with a steadfast commitment to making the arts accessible to diverse and underserved communities. We are dedicated to fostering the next generation of artists, encouraging the creation of new works, and preserving the historic Miracle Theatre as a vibrant cultural landmark.
