Raised for Nonprofits

Too many young people today drop out of school and struggle to break the cycle of poverty. Since 1987, the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) has been empowering students to engage in school and find their own path to success. NFTE is the only global nonprofit organization solely focused on bringing entrepreneurship education to low-income youth, with 23 active programs in 10 countries. NFTE South Florida, launched in 2006 has become the nation's fastest growing program with over 30,000 youth served to date. NFTE students see the world differently. They find opportunity where before they saw only roadblocks. They recognize the relevancy of education and the importance of setting and driving toward personal, educational and professional goals. They become entrepreneurial thinkers, armed with the skills and tools to adapt to economic circumstances in good times and bad.

We train young entrepreneurs. Khareem Oliver, winner of our Investment Panel on November 3, 2015, is a perfect example of a young person who begins to see their future differently by learning to think like an entrepreneur. In this picture, he presents his business, Find or Found, to a high-powered panel of judges.
