Since 1919, the nonpartisan National Parks Conservation Association has been the leading voice in safeguarding our national parks. From our national headquarters in Washington, D.C., and 27 locations nationwide, we call on our program and policy experts, committed volunteers, staff lobbyists, community organizers and communications specialists to inform and inspire the public and to influence decision makers to ensure that our national parks are well protected. NPCA is the lead nonprofit park advocacy group working at the local, regional and national level to protect and preserve our greatest natural, cultural and historic treasures for future generations. In Florida, we’re fighting to preserve the fish and coral reefs in Biscayne National Park, protecting nesting bird habitat in Dry Tortugas National Park, restoring fresh water flow to Everglades National Park and working to better connect youth and partner organizations to our parks.
