As the official host of the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program, our mission is to promote, sponsor and facilitate programs that provide people-to-people exchange between emerging foreign leaders in business, government and civil society and their South Florida peers.
Our exchange programs have included:
• Entrepreneurs from across Africa, Haiti, Spain &
• Engineers & environmentalists from Latin America
• Park conservationists from India
• Bankers & financiers from Turkmenistan and Guinea-
• Disability rights advocates from Uzbekistan and
Through these carefully crafted peer-to-peer experiences, our foreign visitors form an intimate, first-hand understanding of the US, its people, its culture and its society.
At Global Ties Miami we know that citizen diplomacy starts with a handshake and we hope this Give Miami Day you will lend us yours!
