MDC Museum of Art + Design
of Private Matching Funds Remaining
MOAD's mission is to provide open, critical, and collaborative frameworks for artistic experimentation and interdisciplinary risk-taking that explores the intersections of art, design, and other art forms with cultural action. The Museum of Art and Design advances Miami Dade College's core values, contributing to the intellectual life of the college, engaging students and audiences from the community and the world beyond. MOAD programs and exhibitions offer South Florida's diverse community broad and varied exhibitions and public engagement programs. Though the museum's Freedom Tower location is currently undergoing renovations scheduled to be complete in November of 2017, funding will directly support programming at Miami Dade College campuses and at satellite locations throughout Miami-Dade County in the interim. All exhibitions, lectures, and workshops are free and open to the public.
