Episcopal Charities of Southeast Florida
of Private Matching Funds Remaining
The mission of Episcopal Charities is to partner with and empower the people of our Diocese in answering God's call to respond to basic human needs. The organization accomplishes this by funding non-sectarian congregational outreach ministries and program partners affiliated with Episcopal congregations to meet basic human needs. This is done by feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, providing after school and tutoring assistance for at-risk youth and offering isolated seniors a place to gather with other seniors for socialization, activities and a hot meal.

Opened in 1989 as a result of the need and poverty found in the neighborhood, St. Faith’s Food Pantry is open two ½ days a week for individuals and families to pick up 160-180 bags of groceries that make up well-balanced meals for families and elderly persons each month. They are supported by other churches and civic organizations as the church is poor and cannot provide all pantry food from its congregation.
