For over 30 years Catholic Hospice, Inc. continues to serve the South Florida community. Established in 1988, Catholic Hospice Inc. is a community based not-for-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of people with a life-limiting illness and their loved ones. Hospice care involves medical supervision, emotional support, spiritual guidance and pain management. We provide care to people of all faiths. The Catholic Hospice Choice provides a journey filled with love, care, compassion and respect for human dignity by highly trained professionals. Catholic Hospice provide our service programs, such as: We Honor Veterans, a program whereby veteran assistance is given to cater their specific needs; Wishes Granted, a program whereby we provide a last wish to the patient at his/her request; Camp Erin, a children’s bereavement camp program; Pet Peace of Mind, a program of volunteers who assist patients’ pet needs, and Support Groups are also provided to family, friends, and to the community after the loss of a loved one.
Wishes granted is a program that Catholic Hospice implemented in order to be able to help grant patients their last wish. Every Wish is specific to the patient or their family's desire and offers a sense of peace of mind to the patient. This family was married in front of their dying loved one.
