Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami

Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami is a fresh and vibrant ballet company founded in 2016 by former Miami City Ballet principal dancers Jennifer Kronenberg & Carlos Guerra.Lauded by the Miami press as headed on a "meteoric" trajectory, the critically acclaimed company of artists consists of 11 culturally diverse local dancers, the company's internationally renowned leaders - directors Jennifer Kronenberg, Carlos Guerra, and Resident Choreographer/ Ballet Master, Yanis Pikieris and Artist in Residence Yanis Eric Pikieris. An Advisory Council of artistic icons including Edward Villella, Septime Webre, and more help to guide the company to success. This infrastructure has assisted the organization to secure funding from every level of government, the John S. & James L. Knight Foundation, The Miami Foundation, Funding Arts Network, Miami Salon Group, South Arts, and other private and national foundations.

The company is in performing residence at The Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center, and proudly calls Miami Youth Ballet its rehearsal home. Additional partners include: Mandelstam Dance, Hispanic American Lyric Theatre, Miniaci PAC, Ballet Vero Beach, Miami Dance Hub, and Mandelstam Dance.

DDTM's performances reflect the colorful spirit of Miami, boldly disrupting antiquated classical traditions in the spirit of advancing the art-form's accessibility, and creativity. As our team of experienced, multicultural dance stakeholders continue to serve as ambassadors of the Miami arts and culture ecosystem at world renowned ballet and dance festivals, and our innovative outreach programs engage over 700 local youth per season, through performances, classes, workshops, and interactive discussions and activities.
