At AUM hOMe Shala, our mission is to harness the healing power of yoga to transform lives, particularly for those facing mental health challenges. We are deeply committed to supporting individuals on their healing journeys from conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, addiction, eating disorders, and body image concerns.
Our dedication to this mission is reflected in the creation of our 100-Hour Yoga Therapy for Mental Health training. This specialized program equips our students with the tools and knowledge to apply a comprehensive three-pronged approach in working with clients who face these challenges. Beyond the classroom, our teachers actively bring yoga into homeless shelters and rehab facilities, providing support to some of the most vulnerable populations in our community.

Mission
AUM hOMe Shala is dedicated to promoting the therapeutic benefits of yoga with a focus on "unity in diversity" and the acceptance of various approaches to yoga. Our mission is to educate, inspire, and train yoga teachers and yoga therapists, fostering a deep understanding of how yoga can transform lives.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are committed to ushering in a new era of peace by encouraging people of all ages and abilities—including children, adolescents, individuals with disabilities or chronic health conditions, and other underserved populations—to embrace yoga as a foundation for personal health and societal revitalization.
Our mission is non-discriminatory and ecumenical in nature. We work tirelessly to expand and develop programming, trainings, community clinics, symposiums, and outreach initiatives. These efforts extend into universities, schools, and healthcare facilities, all aimed at shifting paradigms through the power of yoga, yoga therapy, and meditation.
