For over a century, the women of the Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove have been at the heart of our community, fostering civic improvement, education, and the arts.  The historic 1891 photo captures founding members who laid the foundation for our enduring mission. Founded on February 19, 1891, the Woman’s Club of Coconut Grove is the oldest Federated Woman’s Club in South Florida, and our historic Clubhouse is proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places. For over a century, we have been a beacon of civic improvement, education, arts, and community engagement in Miami.

Our Mission:  We are dedicated to enriching the Miami community through public welfare, education, civic improvement, historical preservation, and the advancement of the arts—all while fostering fellowship among our members.

  • Young Artist Gallery (YAG): Awarding college scholarships and providing exhibition opportunities for talented Miami-Dade public high school art students.
