The Museum of Art and Design (MOAD) is Miami Dade College's flagship institution dedicated to the presentation and exhibition of visual art and design, housed within the National Historic Landmark Freedom Tower in Downtown Miami.

MOAD offers groundbreaking exhibitions and programs that foster dynamic conversations and offer new opportunities for learning. Exploring the challenges and opportunities we face locally and globally, MOAD convenes artists, designers, and thinkers to address the urgent questions of our time. As the flagship museum of Miami Dade College, MOAD strives to be a catalyst for action and a place that empowers people to remake their city. MOAD follows the College’s lead in operating across Miami with its Museum Without Boundaries initiative, which takes place in city neighborhoods and invites everyone to be a part of the conversation.

Currently offering offsite programming across the city on the college’s various campuses while its home at the Freedom Tower undergoes structural renovations, MOAD brings its programming to a variety of South Florida neighborhoods where communities are able to conveniently access its plethora of art initiatives, including family-friendly, hands on GOGO MOAD arts education classes, history-based lectures, an outdoor annual pavilion, artist-led tours, exhibitions, and more.
