The MDFAWL Foundation supports aspiring and young lawyers throughout Florida in various capacities. As but one example, the MDFAWL Foundation endeavors to grant over $20,000 in scholarships to law students demonstrating financial need, academic merit, and a commitment to social justice. The MDFAWL Foundation also hosts community outreach events to encourage pro bono participation in the community.
The MDFAWL Foundation is a 501(c)(3) that was established in 2018 to expand and improve representation and advocacy on behalf of low-income persons and children; expand educational opportunities for women and minorities; promote social justice; improve the administration of justice; and promote service to the public by members of the legal profession and others in the community.
