The Homeless Trust began its work more than 30 years ago and has reduced street homelessness by nearly 90% since that time. The Trust coordinates housing and services across the county for persons experiencing and at risk of homelessness and is guided by Miami-Dade County's Community Homeless Plan: Priority Home.
Mission
The goal of the Homeless Trust is to prevent and end homelessness in Miami-Dade County. The Ending Homelessness Fund, supported by The Miami Foundation, aims to build long-term, permanent solutions to address homelessness amongst seniors and other vulnerable persons.
