Volunteers of America of Florida

Volunteers of America of Florida provides many programs in the Miami area for Floridians in need. Funds received through Give Miami Day will provide Miami participants the ability to purchase much needed items such as groceries, hygiene products, educational workbooks, linens, medication, and so much more.

The Miami Drop-In Center is a safe haven for Floridians to gather, learn and start to heal. All Floridians are welcome to the Drop-In Center. A myriad of services are offered at The Drop-In Center. For many, the Drop-In Center is the first step in becoming connected to much-needed services & housing. For others, The Drop-In Center provides a clean place to socialize and relax.

The Miami Permanent Supportive Housing Program provides housing and supportive services to homeless individuals with severe and persistent mental illness to stabilize and prepare them for independence.

The Miami GPD Program provides clinical treatment, transitional housing, and case management services to homeless Veterans.
