Through A Dose of Fun: The Wonder Show!, our new theatre-in-hospitals initiative, we have brought joyful, interactive theatre to more than 1,000 children and their families at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and Holtz Children’s Hospital. With a portable set designed to go wherever children need it most, the Wonder Show has transformed hospital playrooms, waiting areas, oncology floors, transplant units, and even bedside rooms into spaces of imagination, connection, and joy.
We knew theatre could matter. We did not know it could matter this much.
