Founded in 2016, Code/Art prepares the next generation of creative technologists by giving young people meaningful opportunities to create, experiment, and build with technology.
Our approach brings together art, technology, and creative expression to make technical skills approachable and exciting from an early age. What began as an effort to engage more girls in computer science has grown into a broader commitment to helping young people build the creative problem solving, computational thinking, and technical confidence they will need in an increasingly AI shaped world.
Since 2016, Code/Art has reached more than 10,000 students through school programs, competitions, clubs, camps, and community experiences. We create welcoming spaces where students can explore technology through projects that reflect their own ideas and interests, helping turn an early introduction into lasting curiosity and confidence.
Preparing students for the future also means preparing the educators who teach them. As technology evolves faster than many classrooms can adapt, Code/Art equips teachers with accessible training and ready to use lessons, helping close the gap between the rapid evolution of technology and classroom readiness.
